Centrally located just a short distance from Kuala Lumpur city centre, Bukit Kiara Equestrian & Country Resort exceeds all expectations. As the premier horse riding club in the country, we take pride in our exclusive equestrian features. Within our well-equipped equestrian centre, you can expect facilities such as a large indoor arena, a polo field with a grand stand pavilion and well-maintained horse stables.
And that’s not all. With an easy-to-access location, our equestrian arena is one of the favourite destinations for hosting a range of events. The indoor arena has accommodated various equestrian competitions such as international show jumping and dressage competitions, as well as events from concerts to product launches and weddings.
For those looking to learn the ropes of horse riding, our Riding School caters to both adults and kids. Best of all, experienced foreign and local instructors provide lessons for competitions and leisure - whether for novices or those with some experience. You may choose to learn with a leading groom, a trainee instructor or an experienced instructor at varying fees. Horse-owners are also allowed to keep their animals at the equestrian centre for very reasonable livery charges, including grooming, feeding and shelter.
On a benevolent note, the resort's horses are used in the Riding for the Disabled (RDA) programme, run by volunteer members who are dedicated to helping mentally and physically challenged children to enjoy horse-riding.
Of course, Bukit Kiara is more than just a club for equestrian lovers. It is also a popular recreational club with a wide array of facilities, making it comparable to any other club in the Klang Valley – with the clubhouse proper, the sports complex and the equestrian centre all under one roof.
Members can sweat it out at the sports complex that is complete with a 12-lane computerised bowling alley with a café, fully integrated fitness centre with sauna and Japanese bath, gymnasium, aerobics room, reading room and simulation games room. It also houses international standard badminton courts and newly refurbished squash courts. Our landscaped free-form swimming pool was voted the best-designed recreational pool in the country. For golfers, the club offers a two-tiered, 32-bay driving range and a putting green.
For a tantalizing experience, unwind at the various entertainment and food and beverage outlets – serving varied offerings from Cantonese cuisine and continental spreads to sushi and light snacks. Meanwhile Dewan Berjaya and Dewan Perdana provide banquet facilities for annual dinners, product launches private functions, workshops, seminars or conferences.
